Excuse me, I have a small tattoo on my arm, can I still use the bath?
Romaji: Sumimasen, ude ni chiisai tatū ga aru no desu ga, nyūyoku dekimasu ka? / Reply Romaji: Shīru nado de kakushite itadakereba daijōbu desu yo. (Or) Mōshiwake arimasen, tōshisetsu de wa goenryo itadaite orimasu.

シールなどでかくしていただければだいじょうぶですよ。(または) もうしわけありません、とうしせつではごえんりょいただいております。
It's fine if you cover it with a sticker or something similar. (Or) We apologize, but tattoos are not permitted at our facility.
Gesture & etiquette
Point politely to your arm where the tattoo is.
Be prepared for either answer. If denied, accept it gracefully. Do not try to hide tattoos without asking first, as it might cause trouble.
