Gesture & etiquette
Hold up your Goshuin-cho slightly, or gesture politely towards where they might be issued.
Ensure you have a proper Goshuin-cho (Goshuin book). Present it respectfully, usually with both hands. Some shrines/temples may not offer Goshuin or have specific hours.
