Cover the top of your bowl or plate gently with an open hand as you say this; pair it with a warm, satisfied smile — your expression should clearly communicate enjoyment, not rejection of the food; a slight bow reinforces sincere gratitude.
Combining a full refusal with genuine praise ('本当においしかった') is the culturally graceful way to stop a host from continuing to serve. A bare 'いりません' (I don't want any) feels blunt. Note: Japanese hosts may offer 2–3 more times even after this — a second gentle refusal with the same warmth signals the boundary has been sincerely set.
