Deliver feedback in a private setting — never in front of others. Frame your concern as 'checking' rather than 'correcting.' Maintain a respectful, genuinely curious tone — as if you might have misunderstood and the other person can clarify.
「少し気になる点」(a point I'm slightly concerned about) is deliberately understated. Japanese feedback culture strongly favors soft framing to preserve face (面子, mentsu). Even serious concerns should initially be presented as 'slight' ones — this allows the other party to correct the issue themselves while saving face.
