Japanese business meetings rarely accept blunt disagreement, especially upward. The pattern 'agree first → soften → introduce alternative' is essential. 'Ossharu toori' (it is as you say) validates the superior's view before pivoting. 'Itten dake' (just one point) signals modest scope. 'Yoroshii deshou ka' asks permission to speak — never just launch into a counter-argument.
