Greet at the entrance with a warm bow (20°). Walk slowly beside them to the room, not ahead. Hold door, but let them enter first. Demonstrate call button. Place their personal items together so the room feels less institutional.
Facility intake day is emotionally heavy for seniors leaving home. Use warm humble language ('お過ごしいただきます' frames it as honoring their presence). Explicitly invite complaints — seniors often hesitate to voice discomfort. Show room slowly, demonstrate call button, walk together to dining/common areas. Stay with them during the first meal.
