Gesture & etiquette
Make eye contact with the asker. Slight nod of appreciation. Open the materials to the referenced page if possible — physical or screen-share. After the reference, pause to see if they have follow-up before moving on.
Acknowledging a question with 'yoi goshitsumon' (good question) validates the asker without being sycophantic. Pointing to specific materials respects their time and gives a verifiable source. If the question is outside the prepared materials, honestly say 'shiryou ni nai naiyou desu node, betsu ni kakunin shite ohenji itashimasu' (it's not in the materials, let me check and reply separately).
