If it's a private bath, there's no problem.
Gesture & etiquette
Point subtly to the tattoo area (if visible) or a general gesture of inquiry.
Do not try to sneak in with a tattoo if explicitly forbidden. Some places may offer tattoo-covering stickers. Always ask politely.
