Romaji: Sumimasen, kono chōzuya no tadashii tsukai-kata wa dō sureba ii desu ka? / Reply Romaji: Mazu hidari-te o kiyome, tsugi ni migi-te o. Sono ato kuchi o susugi, saigo ni hishaku no e o kiyomemasu.

まず左手を清め、次に右手を。そのあと口をすすぎ、最後に柄杓の柄を清めます。

まずひだりてをきよめ、つぎにみぎてを。そのあとくちをすすぎ、さいごにひしゃくのえをきよめます。
