Good morning. Likewise!

Gesture & etiquette

A slight 15-degree nod as you say this. In formal offices, bow to senior colleagues first. Never skip the greeting entirely — walking past a colleague silently is considered rude even in modern workplaces.

Yoroshiku onegai shimasu has no exact English equivalent — it acknowledges mutual dependence and asks for goodwill. Saying it every morning, even to the same colleagues, is standard. Skipping it signals you are not a team player.
