Gesture & etiquette

Bow at 30 degrees upon greeting. Stand tall and walk at a measured pace, slightly ahead. Use your hand (palm up, fingers together) to indicate direction rather than pointing with a finger. Open doors and hold them open for the client.

Always greet visiting clients at reception with this phrase and escort them personally — never simply point to the conference room. Walk slightly ahead and to the side, occasionally glancing back to ensure they are following. Open doors and step aside to let clients enter first.
