Address the team while standing. Bow 30 degrees at the end of the announcement, hold for 2 seconds. Make eye contact with key colleagues during the speech. If announcing 1-on-1, slightly less formal bow (20 degrees).
Internal transfer announcements (idou) follow a respectful structure: announce the change → effective date → gratitude for past support. 'Osewa ni narimashita' is past-tense — acknowledging that the period of care from these colleagues is ending. Even in the same company, the gratitude is sincere because work relationships will shift. Often paired with small farewell gifts or a department lunch.
