Stand or sit upright with steady, confident posture — but not boastful. Calm voice, slight smile. When receiving praise, slight bow of acknowledgment (15 degrees). Avoid explaining the work in detail unless asked; the result speaks for itself.
When reporting good results to a superior, share credit explicitly. 'Okagesama de' (thanks to you/your support) acknowledges their guidance. Naming the team's contribution prevents the appearance of self-promotion, which is culturally discouraged in Japanese workplaces. Genuine humility on success builds trust for future projects.
