Bow about 45 degrees on 「謹んで」 and again on 「申し上げております」. Hands at sides (men) or folded in front (women). Speak in a measured, low voice. If delivered in writing, use white envelope with black ink only, no decorative paper.
Highest-formality condolence from a care facility to bereaved family. 「謹んで」 (respectfully), 「ご逝去を悼み」 (mourning the passing), 「哀悼の意を表します」 (express condolences), 「ご厚情を賜り」 (received special kindness), 「衷心より」 (from the bottom of the heart) are all N1-level set phrases. Used in written sympathy letters or formal in-person greetings at the funeral.
