Gesture & etiquette
If announcing in person to family, hand printed invitation card with both hands, smile warmly. Walk them through the program (lunch, music, photo session etc.). Reassure that 'short visits are fine too' for busy families—removes guilt barrier.
Family event invitation. 「ぜひお越しください」 (please do come) is warm yet not pushy. Provide specific date/time, what's expected (lunch? gift?), parking info, and accessibility notes. Follow up with written invitation (paper or email) including a map. Include RSVP request with deadline.
