Gesture & etiquette
Stand at entrance to audit room, bow about 30 degrees on greeting. Show seat: 「どうぞこちらへ」. Have water, tea, materials laid out. Stay nearby for questions, but don't hover. Have phone numbers of key staff (CFO, IT) immediately available.
Audit reception greeting (financial, ISO, security, etc.). 「一通り」 (all/the full set) signals completeness. 「何なりとお申し付けください」 (please request anything at all) invites full cooperation. Have dedicated audit room, fast response team on standby, all systems accessible. Treat auditors as honored guests, not adversaries.
