Gesture & etiquette
Discreetly point to the tattoo area on your arm/body, or mime applying a sticker.
Be discreet when asking. Do not enter without covering visible tattoos, and respect establishment rules even if they don't offer stickers. Some onsens strictly forbid tattoos regardless of cover-up.
