Romaji: Sumimasen, kono onsen ni wa tatū ga atte mo hairemasu ka? Mata wa, tokubetsu na rūru wa arimasu ka? / Reply Romaji: Chiisana tatū de areba kabā shīru de kakushite itadakereba daijōbu desu. Ōkii baai wa kotowari shite orimasu.

小さなタトゥーであればカバーシールで隠していただければ大丈夫です。大きい場合はお断りしております。
ちいさなタトゥーであればカバーシールでかくしていただければだいじょうぶです。おおきいばあいはことわりしております。
If it's a small tattoo, it's fine if you cover it with a cover-up sticker. For large tattoos, we unfortunately cannot allow entry.
Gesture & etiquette
Point to your arm (or relevant body part) where a tattoo might be, or make a questioning gesture.
Do not enter if you have a large tattoo and are told not to. Respect the rules of the establishment.
