Gesture & etiquette
Bow slightly before asking. If you have a Goshuincho (Goshuin book), you can hold it out gently.
Do not touch anything on the altar without permission. Respect the sacred space and be prepared to wait if there's a line. If you have a Goshuincho (Goshuin book), present it when you are at the counter.
