Romaji: Sumimasen, kono otōshi wa chūmon shita mono deshō ka? Soretomo sābisu desu ka? / Reply Romaji: Kochira wa otōshi de, sekiryō to shite itadaite orimasu. Ohitori-sama sanbyaku-en desu.

This is an 'otoshi', and we charge it as a seating fee. It is 300 yen per person.

In most izakayas, otoshi is mandatory. It's polite to ask for clarification, but refusing it might be difficult or impolite.
