Excuse me, I have a small tattoo. Would it be alright if I enter if I cover it so it's not noticeable?

Gesture & etiquette
Gesture towards the arm or area where the tattoo might be, or simply make a polite bowing gesture while asking.
Do not try to enter without asking if you have a tattoo, even a small one. Always ask beforehand. Be prepared for refusal and respect their rules.
