Romaji: Sumimasen, goshuin o itadakitai no desu ga, kochira de onegai dekimasu ka? Kakioki dewa nai, jikagaki o onegai dekimasu ka? / Reply Romaji: Hai, shōchi itashimashita. Goshuin-chō o oazukari shimasu. Shōshō ojikan o itadakimasu.

Gesture & etiquette
Hold out your Goshuincho respectfully. Bow slightly when making the request.
Ensure your Goshuincho (stamp book) is opened to a blank page. Be patient, as it can take time, especially if handwritten. Some places only offer pre-written (kakioki) Goshuin.
