Gesture & etiquette
Make eye contact with the server and perhaps a slight nod. No specific hand gesture is needed beyond perhaps a subtle hand motion as if pointing to the menu, then looking up.
Don't insist if they say they don't have it. Be polite and understand that not every izakaya has everything, even if common.
