That might be a little difficult... (polite way of saying 'no' or 'I cannot do this')

Gesture & etiquette
When saying this, lower your gaze slightly and speak softly. A small apologetic bow shows you are aware of the inconvenience. When hearing it, nod and say 'sou desu ka' with a calm, understanding expression — do not argue or press further.
In Japan, a direct 'no' is rarely said to avoid damaging harmony (wa). 'Chotto muzukashii' (a little difficult) is universally understood as a soft refusal. If you hear this phrase, accept it gracefully — pushing further is considered pushy and embarrassing for both parties.
