It's time for rehabilitation. Let's do our best together today. There's no rush — take it slowly.

Gesture & etiquette
Walk alongside the senior during exercise, not behind. Match their pace exactly. When they pause, pause with them. Offer your arm at elbow height — never grip their hand unless requested, as this removes their sense of control.
Frame rehabilitation as a shared effort ('let's do it together') rather than a task imposed on the senior. 'Yukkuri de ii desu yo' (slowly is fine) removes pressure and reduces fear of failure. Celebrate small gains visibly — even one extra step is worth genuine praise.
