こちらこそ、楽しかったです。またご一緒しましょう!

こちらこそ、たのしかったです。またごいっしょしましょう!

It was fun for us too! Let's do it again sometime!

Gesture & etiquette

Say this directly to the event organizer with a slight bow (15 degrees). If there are many people, say a briefer version to others: 「楽しかったです。またよろしくお願いします。」A follow-up message the next day is also greatly appreciated.

How you leave a party matters as much as how you arrive in Japanese workplace culture. Always thank the organizer (幹事) personally before leaving — they invested time in planning. Leaving without saying goodbye to the host (a 'French leave') is considered impolite and may be remembered.
