Gesture & etiquette
Hold the denture container with both hands—treat with same respect as their teeth. Cover container while transporting (dignity). Return polished and rinsed, dry container. Inspect briefly for cracks/wear and report to nurse if found.
Denture care. 「お預かりする」 (humbly receive temporarily) elevates the simple act—dentures are intimate personal items. Rinse food debris first, then brush with denture brush + neutral soap (not toothpaste, which is too abrasive). Soak in cleansing tablets if scheduled. Always return promptly; never leave them out where dust can settle.
