Gesture & etiquette
Point to the purification fountain (temizuya) and then make a 'teaching' gesture (open hands).
Do not drink directly from the ladle. Do not put the ladle directly to your mouth. Do not splash water excessively or wash your entire face. The purpose is symbolic purification.
