I would like to return an old amulet. Where should I hand it in?
Romaji: Furui omamori wo okaeshi shitai no desu ga, dochira ni osamereba yoi desu ka? / Reply Romaji: Achira no 'kosatsu nōsho' to kakareta hako ni irete itadaku ka, kochira no madoguchi de oazukari shimasu.

あちらの『古札納所』と書かれた箱に入れていただくか、こちらの窓口でお預かりします。
あちらの『こさつのおしょ』とかかれたはこにいれていただくか、こちらのまどぐちでおあずかりします。
You can put it in the box labeled 'Kosatsu Nosho' over there, or we can accept it here at this counter.
Gesture & etiquette
Hold the old amulet with both hands gently while asking.
Do not throw amulets into regular trash bins. Do not return amulets from a Buddhist temple to a Shinto shrine, or vice versa, if possible.
