Gesture & etiquette

Extend the card with both hands, text facing the recipient. Bow at 15-20 degrees as you present. Your name and title should be clearly visible to them. If you have a bilingual card, present the Japanese side up in Japan.

Present your card with both hands, card facing the recipient (text readable to them), with a slight bow. If meeting multiple people simultaneously, present to the most senior person first. Do not fumble with cards — have them ready before the meeting begins.
