A deeper bow (30–45 degrees) than usual reinforces the sincerity of the gratitude; hold the bow for a moment; make warm, brief eye contact before and after to convey genuine appreciation rather than routine politeness.
おかげさまで' literally means 'thanks to your shadow (presence)' — a poetic way of saying your success or relief directly resulted from the other person. It carries deeper warmth than a simple 'ありがとう' and acknowledges a meaningful level of support. Use it after someone helps you through something that genuinely mattered.
