Gesture & etiquette

Speak at a calm, unhurried pace; make clear eye contact to confirm the senior is following; ask '何かご不明な点はありますか?' (Do you have any questions?) after explaining; note the time of medication and any instructions in the care log.

Always relay medication side effect information exactly as given by the prescribing physician or pharmacist — do not add or omit details. Using 'ことがあります' (there are instances when / may) rather than 'なります' (will become) maintains the appropriate level of uncertainty and is more accurate.
