Gesture & etiquette

Sit beside the senior with the medication package between you. Point gently to each label as you read aloud. Go through each medication one by one — morning, noon, evening — and confirm the senior can identify each one by function before moving to the next.

Always sit at the same level with the medication package clearly visible. Use plain language — avoid medical jargon. Confirm understanding by asking 「このお薬はいつ飲みますか?」(When do you take this one?) for each medication. If any confusion remains, contact the clinic for clarification.
