Deep bow (45 degrees) at the conclusion. Voice steady, not trembling — sincerity, not desperation. After standing from the bow, make brief eye contact to acknowledge receipt of the trust granted. Do not over-apologize repeatedly; one strong commitment is more powerful than three weak ones.
After a formal apology, Japanese communication culture expects an explicit future commitment to prevent recurrence. 'Kongo nido to' (never again from now on) is the standard absolute commitment phrase. 'Mairimasu' is the humble form of 'iku/kuru' used here to mean 'I will go forward (in being careful).'
