Gesture & etiquette
Step back half a pace from your superior. Hold your own card case ready at chest height. Bow (15°) but stay quiet. Both hands when presenting your own card next. Receive their card with both hands, name facing you, then place on the table aligned with the seating arrangement.
Group business-card exchange follows hierarchy — most senior on your side meets most senior on the other side first, then descending pairs. As the junior, step back half a pace, hold your cards ready, and wait your turn. Never interrupt your superior's exchange. Place received cards on the table in seating order during the meeting; never just stuff them in a pocket.
