小さいものでしたら、目立たないように隠していただければ大丈夫ですよ。
ちいさいものでしたら、めだたないようにかくしていただければだいじょうぶですよ。
If it's a small one, it's fine if you can cover it so it's not noticeable.

Slight bow, perhaps a subtle hand gesture indicating a small size (without showing the tattoo).
Do not try to argue if they say no. Do not show your tattoo directly without permission in the lobby.
