Excuse me, I have tattoos (irezumi). Is it okay for me to enter? (Can I enter if I cover them?)
Romaji: Sumimasen, tatū (irezumi) ga aru no desu ga, haitte mo daijōbu deshō ka? (Kakuseba hairemasu ka?) / Reply Romaji: Shīru nado de kakushite itadakereba, go-nyūyoku itadakemasu.

You may enter if you cover them with a sticker or similar.
Gesture & etiquette
Point to your arm or the area with the tattoo, or a slight bow.
Always ask about tattoo policy before entering. Some establishments strictly prohibit tattoos regardless of covering.
