Romaji: Sumimasen, kono o-juzu wa dono yō ni tsukau no desu ka? / Reply Romaji: Kochira wa dokkyō no sai ni te ni motte tsukaimasu. Shūha ni yotte sahō ga kotonarimasu yo.

こちらは読経の際に手に持って使います。宗派によって作法が異なりますよ。

These are held in your hand during sutra chanting. The etiquette varies by sect.

Gesture & etiquette

Point gently at the prayer beads (juzu) while maintaining a respectful posture. Listen attentively to the explanation.

Be respectful and quiet in sacred spaces. Do not take photos in restricted areas or of people (especially monks/priests) without explicit permission. Do not touch sacred items that are not explicitly designated for visitor interaction.
