Romaji: Chiisai tatū ga aru no desu ga, nyūyoku dekimasu ka? Sore ka, kashikiri-buro wa arimasu ka? / Reply Romaji: Chiisai mono deshitara, medatanai yō ni shīru de kakushite itadakereba daijōbu desu. Kashikiri-buro wa manshitsu de shite.

小さいものでしたら、目立たないようにシールで隠していただければ大丈夫です。貸し切り風呂は満室でして。
ちいさいものでしたら、めだたないようにシールでかくしていただければだいじょうぶです。かしきりぶろはまんしつでして。
If it's small, it's fine if you cover it with a sticker so it's not noticeable. The private baths are currently full, unfortunately.
Gesture & etiquette
Point politely to the tattoo area if comfortable, or gesture towards the bath.
Do not enter an onsen with a visible tattoo if it is explicitly prohibited. Always ask first. Many onsen provide tattoo cover stickers.
