Gesture & etiquette
Point to the dish on the menu, then make a 'sharing' gesture with hands, then a 'single person' gesture.
Do not directly take food from a shared dish with your personal chopsticks if you have used them to eat from your mouth. Use serving chopsticks (toribashi) if provided, or ask for them.
