お通し代は席料として頂戴しておりますが、中身を別のもので対応いたしますね。
おとおしだいはせきりょうとしてちょうだいしておりますが、なかみをべつのものでたいおういたしますね。
The Otoshi fee is charged as a seating cover charge, but we can substitute the dish with something else for you.
Gesture & etiquette
Show an allergy card or point to your throat/stomach with a polite apologetic smile.
Do not aggressively demand a refund for the cover charge, as it is a standard business practice in Japan.
