Romaji: Fujisan ga mieru no wa dochiragawa no seki desu ka? / Reply Romaji: Tokyo-hatsu no ressha deshitaro, E-seki gawa de gozaimasu. Tenki ga yokereba, Nagoya no temae de goran ni naremasu yo.

東京発の列車でしたら、E席側でございます。天気が良ければ、名古屋の手前でご覧になれますよ。

とうきょうはつのれっしゃでしたら、イーせきがわでございます。てんきがよければ、なごやのてまえでごらんになれますよ。

If you are on a train departing from Tokyo, it would be the E-seat side. If the weather is clear, you will be able to see it just before Nagoya.

Gesture & etiquette

Point politely toward the window or use a seating chart to clarify the seat position.

Do not give incorrect seat information based on the direction of travel, as seat numbering is fixed relative to the direction.
