Gesture & etiquette
In email: keep the subject line identical to the original plus '【リマインド】' (reminder) at the front; be brief — one sentence of context and one sentence of request is sufficient.
ご確認いただけましたでしょうか？' (were you able to review it?) is far gentler than 'まだ見ていないんですか？' (haven't you seen it yet?). Wait at least 3–5 business days before following up on a non-urgent email. If urgent, note the deadline: '〇日までにご返信いただけますと幸いです' (I would be grateful for a reply by [date]).
