Gesture & etiquette
This is an email phrase — no physical gesture needed. However, always double-check that the attachment is actually attached before clicking send. Forgetting an attachment after writing 'ご添付のとおりです' is a very common and embarrassing office mistake in Japan.
Japanese business emails follow a structured format: open with お世話になっております, state your purpose, include the body, and close with よろしくお願いいたします. The form 「〜いただけますでしょうか」is softer and more polite than 「〜ください」— preferred when emailing a superior or client.
