Email only—do not chase in person on first reminder. If urgent, follow up after 2-3 days with phone call: 「先ほどのメールの件、お忙しいところ恐縮ですが…」.

Soft reminder/chase email. 「お手すきの際に」 (when you have a free moment) maintains face for the recipient even though they're late. 「~いただけますと幸いです」 (I would be grateful if you could) is the polite optative. Add the original request date and brief context. Avoid 「お忙しいとは思いますが、急ぎですので」 unless truly urgent—it sounds passive-aggressive.
