Kneel beside the person immediately and place a hand gently on their shoulder to reassure them while assessing. Maintain a calm, controlled voice — your composure is the primary stabilizer for a frightened, fallen senior.
In a fall response, the three-step structure (acknowledge what happened → ask about injury → instruct not to move) is the medically correct sequence. 「動かないでください」(please don't move) is the single most important instruction — moving before assessing injury can worsen spinal or joint damage.
